Shipping Policy

Do It Dancewear – Shipping Policy (UK)

Effective Date: 22/02/2026

This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed with Do It Dancewear within the United Kingdom.

1. Order Processing

  • Orders are typically processed within 1–3 working days (Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays).

  • During peak trading periods, processing times may be slightly extended.

  • You will receive confirmation once your order has been dispatched.

A legally binding contract is formed once you receive confirmation that your order has been accepted and dispatched.

2. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery timeframes shown at checkout are estimates.

Under UK consumer law:

  • Your order will be delivered without undue delay.

  • In any event, delivery will take place no later than 30 days after the day the contract is entered into, unless otherwise agreed.

If we are unable to meet the agreed delivery timeframe, you will be contacted and offered the option to:

  • Agree to a new delivery date, or

  • Cancel the order for a full refund.

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping charges are clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Where free delivery promotions apply, terms will be stated at the time of purchase.

4. Risk & Responsibility

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:

  • Goods remain the responsibility of Do It Dancewear until they are delivered into your physical possession (or the possession of a person you nominate).

  • Risk does not pass to the customer until delivery has occurred.

If an item is lost in transit, we will arrange a replacement or refund.

5. Failed Delivery & Incorrect Address

Customers are responsible for ensuring that delivery details are accurate at checkout.

If a parcel is returned to us due to:

  • An incorrect address

  • Failure to collect

  • Refusal of delivery

We may require additional postage costs before re-dispatch.

6. Delays Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Severe weather

  • Courier network disruptions

  • Industrial action

If a delay is substantial, you may contact us to cancel your order and receive a refund for any undelivered goods.

7. Damaged or Missing Items

If your order arrives damaged or incomplete, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to goods that are:

  • Of satisfactory quality

  • Fit for purpose

  • As described

If goods do not meet these standards, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.

8. International Orders (If Applicable)

For orders delivered outside the UK:

  • Delivery times may vary.

  • Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or additional charges.

  • International deliveries may be subject to local customs delays.

UK statutory consumer protections may not apply to international orders.
