At Do It Dancewear, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains your rights under UK consumer law and how returns and refunds are handled.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
1. Your Right to Cancel (Online & Distance Sales)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your online order within 14 days of receiving your goods.

The 14-day cancellation period begins the day after you receive your order.

You must inform us of your decision to cancel within this period.

After notifying us, you have a further 14 days to return the goods.
If your order has not yet been dispatched at the time of cancellation, you will receive a full refund within 14 days of notifying us.
2. Condition of Returned Goods
You may handle and inspect goods as you would in a physical shop.
However, we may make a deduction from your refund if the value of the goods has been reduced due to excessive handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
To qualify for a full refund:

All original tags must be attached

Items must be returned in original packaging where possible
You are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty.
3. Refund Process
Refunds will be issued to your original method of payment.
We will process your refund:

Within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, or

Within 14 days of receiving proof that the goods have been returned
Original standard delivery costs will be refunded.
Any upgraded or express delivery charges are non-refundable.
4. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be:

If your item is faulty:

You have a 30-day short-term right to reject the goods for a full refund.

After 30 days, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement.

If repair or replacement is not possible, you may be entitled to a refund.
We may request photographic evidence.
We will cover reasonable return postage costs for faulty or incorrect goods.
5. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are exempt from cancellation rights under UK law:

Tights and hosiery where the hygiene seal has been broken

Undergarments and intimate apparel where unsealed (for hygiene reasons)

Custom-made, personalised, or special-order items

Sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons once unsealed

Gift cards
Custom and personalised items are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless faulty.
6. Sale & Clearance Items
Sale or clearance items purchased online may still be returned in accordance with your statutory 14-day cancellation rights, unless they fall into one of the exempt categories listed above (for example, personalised or hygiene-sealed goods).
Faulty sale items remain covered under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
